Who is Erin the Bard, and what’s a “bard” anyway?
Hi! I’m Erin the Bard.
I’m a musical artist and storyteller based in the Hudson Valley, NY.
As a bard, I connect with the healing energy of Nature around me and channel that energy through words, music, and dance.
I've recently been exploring what I like to call "Medicine Jazz" — music that has a jazzy, fun, improvisational quality to it, and at the same time, also carries the grounding, soothing vibration of medicine music.

My live album 'Medicine Jazz Journey' is out on Bandcamp!
I just released my first live album — ‘Medicine Jazz Journey: Live at Omega’s Sanctuary’! yay! 🎉
I feel so grateful to have received an opportunity to share my medicine jazz with a place and community that feels so much like home.
And I can’t wait to see where the Medicine Jazz leads me next!

'Nature Boy' (demo)
This song holds a special place in my heart, because it was the first “medicine jazz” song I felt called to (before I had even received the whole “medicine jazz” download from the universe thing).
Needless to say — I’m very excited I now have a demo of it out on Bandcamp! yay!
'Sanctuary Hour'
My friend Ken Kuter and I recently improvised an entire half-hour set of music at Omega's 'Sanctuary Hour.' There was a harp, a bouzouki, a medicine drum, and lots of singing.
I loved the set so much, I decided to turn it into a live album and put it up on my Bandcamp page. yay!
'All Blues' (demo)
I just released my first single from my upcoming demo album: ‘Medicine/Jazz’!!! 🥳🎉
It’s a fun, slightly quirky, perfectly imperfect, and overall pretty chill version of ‘All Blues’ that I hope will bring joy to a lot of people. ☀️
