Who is Erin the Bard, and what’s a “bard” anyway?
Hi! I’m Erin the Bard.
I’m a musical artist and author based in the Hudson Valley, NY.
As a bard, I connect with the healing energy of Nature around me and channel that energy through words, music, and dance.
I've recently been exploring what I like to call "Medicine Jazz" — music that has a jazzy, improvisational quality to it, but also has a grounding, soothing, medicine music feel to it.

'Wild Heart'
My friend Eric Marjan and I were so inspired by the beautiful, lesser known version of Stevie Nicks' song 'Wild Heart' that we couldn't help but make our own version! It was a fun, magical experience, and the lovely and wise 'Grandmother Tree' accompanied us while we sang.
'Glorious'
I discovered MaMuse's ‘Glorious’ a few years ago, in the midst of a particularly gloomy moment, and it was a healing balm for my soul. Check out Heart 💖 Songs for the whole story behind the evolution of 'Glorious,' and/or listen to my cover of the song below.
